Get a Library Card

The library issues free cards to residents or property owners of Rappahannock County, residents of counties with whom we have a reciprocal agreement*, and individuals who work in Rappahannock County. Proof of address may be requested at registration.

• A parent or legal guardian must sign for applicants under the age of 18.
• Apply in person at the Library.
• If your library card is lost or stolen, please report this to the library immediately.

Borrowing Terms:

• The first time you use your library card you may check out three items.
• All circulating items may be borrowed for three weeks. These items may be renewed once unless the item is on hold for another patron. There are three ways to renew your items: online by logging into your account, at the library, or by calling (540) 675-3780.
• If items are returned late, a fee of $.10 per item, per day will be assessed. If an item is damaged or lost, replacement cost for the item may apply.
