The Rappahannock County Library is open with modified hours and limited services. The library is open to the public Monday-Friday from 10:00a.m.-6:00p.m. We will continue to offer curbside services during these hours for anyone who prefers to pick up items without interaction.
We ask that all patrons age 5 and over cover their mouth and nose with a face covering while in the building. We also ask that patrons sanitize their hands upon entering the building (sanitizer provided), and maintain social distancing in the library. As a courtesy to other patrons, we ask that all patrons limit their time in the library and adhere to any time limits that may be imposed.
Some library services are suspended including: Meeting Room Usage, Story Time Programming, and Computer Help.
Please follow any signs and communicate with library staff, as some of our procedures have changed.
Patrons can place holds by telephone ((540)675-3780), email (firstname.lastname@example.org), or on the Rappahannock County Library website using the My Account feature.
Please be advised, there may be delays in item availability due to the quarantining of recently returned materials. Library staff will notify you when your items are sanitized and ready for pickup.
Items will be located immediately outside of the library on a frequently sanitized table. Please practice social distancing, make sure there is only one person at the table at a time, and only touch/take items with your name on them.
Item returns can be made through the book drop.
